Some of our courses have been accredited by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education as HTQs. This means that the qualification has been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses, so that our students get the specific training, knowledge and skills required for their chosen career.

Our HND in Quantity Surveying is designed to reflect the increasing need for high-quality professional and technical education in this sector. Students will build on the Level 4 core knowledge, skills and techniques that all Quantity Surveyors need in the construction industry, develop a sound understanding of the principles in their field of study and will have learned to apply those principles more widely.

By the end of Level 5, students will have a sound understanding of the principles in their area of specialist study and will know how to apply those principles more widely in the business world.

Facilities particular to the course

In 2021, a £9m Construction Centre – was completed to enhance the design and delivery of our comprehensive suit of construction courses from L2 to L5.
