Ben has worked as Deputy Chief Executive for Action Together since its formation in April 2016.

This session will include an overview of Oldham’s voluntary sector based on our recently published voluntary sector research with Sheffield Hallam University.

We will look at the Children and Young people’s sector within the voluntary sector and give an overview of the main policy drivers. What are the key considerations for someone who is aiming to work in the voluntary sector? What are the skills and qualities needed to work within the sector?
