Pelina Layisi, 38 decided to return to study BSc (Hons) Health & Community Studies at University Campus Oldham (UCO) to pursue her career ambition. She chose UCO as it was local to home and was hugely impressed by how the university was organised around the needs of students.
Pelina, describes the tutors to be forthcoming and pleasant who deliver great lectures, this coupled with the great resources that are available in the university library, making it a great place to study.
“Lectures at UCO as well as the library facilities were great. I gained a wealth of knowledge which will really help me in my future career”, said Pelina.
After graduating from UCO Pelina is excited about establishing herself in the Social Work profession and believes studying at UCO has helped her achieve this career goal.
